Cognitive Challenge Series: Purpose-Built Activities

(4 products)

Solid-wood activities built for adult cognitive and language practice, made by Creative Crafthouse in Hudson, Florida. Everything else in the Cognitive Challenge Series is something we already made that also happens to suit this work. These four were designed for it from the start.

A puzzle has one solution and a fixed difficulty. These do not: the person guiding the activity sets the level. Start with the Talking Tree for open-ended conversation, WordWeaver for grammar and word order, Find with Focus for visual search and attention, or Everyday Sequencing when the goal is order of operations. Pete Janelle designed all four. Three of them, the Talking Tree, WordWeaver and Everyday Sequencing, he co-designed with a practicing speech-language pathologist.

These are not medical devices. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent dementia, Alzheimer's disease, stroke, memory loss, or any other condition. For questions about activities for a loved one, please consult a qualified healthcare provider.
