Start with Penny Drop because it is our best-selling game, it is easy to learn in one round, and we recommend it for 2 to 10 players, so it works for a small family table or a big group. Each player starts with 12 pennies, and the first to get rid of them wins. Roll the die and put a penny in the matching slot. A six sends one into the box and out of play. Roll a number whose slot already holds a penny and you take every penny showing on the board, and your turn ends. After a safe roll you choose whether to roll again or pass, so the lead can swing on one roll. Our founder Dave Janelle invented Penny Drop in 2015. Penny Drop is a U.S. registered trademark owned by Dave Janelle and used exclusively by Creative Crafthouse, and we make every Penny Drop in our Hudson, Florida workshop. Pennies are not included, and nickels will not fit the penny slots. Every edition is in our Penny Drop collection.

Choose by where it will be played. The Penny Drop Mini, our most compact size, and the Travel edition, with a wooden penny on its lid, are both travel-size. The Original Penny Drop has a cherry sliding lid that doubles as the game board. For a bar or game room, the Penny Drop Giant measures 11.25 by 4.5 by 4 inches and plays with standard 39 mm poker chips (not included). Nickel Drop is sized for nickels, and when you roll an occupied 5 you can give the nickel to any player.

Shut the Box is a dice game where you roll two dice and shut numbers that add up to the roll, and the lowest score wins. For math practice, the Shut the Box 1-48 is our educational edition. Dave Janelle wrote its rules, and the same box plays four versions, from numbers 1 to 9 with addition for ages 4 and up to numbers 1 to 48 with all four operations, for up to 12 players. Our 1-12 box adds multiplication, so a roll of 4 and 5 can count as 9 or as 20. The 4 Rows Shut the Box gives each of 2 to 4 players their own row for a head-to-head game.

Hi Roll works for any number of players, with up to three rolls a turn and a bonus plus an extra turn for rolling three or more zeros. Golf Shot needs at least 3 players with 3 coins or chips each: every Slice passes a coin to the right, every Hook passes one to the left and every Trap puts one in the middle. Shut the Barn Door scores points for every animal you get into the barn, unless you roll the skunk. The Penny Drop Giant is the bar-top version of Penny Drop.

Every Penny Drop comes with a wooden die and printed rules, and players supply the coins: twelve pennies each, twelve nickels for Nickel Drop, or twelve poker chips for the Giant. Shut the Barn Door includes two custom laser-engraved dice, and Horse Race, a two-player race where a horse can fall through a hidden trap hole, comes with two sets of wooden pegs as horses and a handmade die.
