Description

The Woodworkers puzzle is a 17-piece picture-frame brain teaser built for the person who already loves working with wood. Every piece is a tool or object you would find on a working bench, precision laser cut and engraved into five or more different woods, then set into a framed base. The result looks like a small piece of shop art until you lift the pieces out. Then the real question starts: can you fit all 17 back inside the frame?

It is a hard puzzle. Most people who have not studied the solution do not get it back together on the first try, which is exactly why it holds a woodworker's attention. A printed instruction and solution sheet is included for when the shop foreman in your family finally asks for a hint.

We make it in our own workshop in Hudson, Florida, with original artwork by Alexandra Plummer. The framed base measures 7.5 inches square and about three quarters of an inch deep, and it ships with a laser-engraved wood cover so it stores and displays like a keepsake, not a toy. See it in action.
