The blocks will shift and twist around in every plane. They make cubes or rectangles of course, but beyond that you can use your imagination to make wondrous shapes, particularly with the longer models.
For the the younger kids ages 5-7 we recommend the 18 block version. Great tool to develop dexterity skills, focus, and creativity
. The 27 block version is the most popular and is great for any age ages 7 to death. Beyond the cube, we provide 18 other shapes you can try and make.
The 64 block is amazing. Makes a 4x4x4 cube and who knows what else... If you make a good design, send me a picture and I will create a log on the website. This design has been called "Fidget blocks" in some craft books and is usually quite short with very small blocks. We have tried to take this concept to a whole new level but making a high quality product with comfortably large blocks in lengths long enough to permit creative shapes to be made.
