Napier's Bones is a handcrafted wooden reproduction of the multiplication aid invented by John Napier in 1617. Before calculators, students and tradespeople used the marked rods to multiply, divide, and find roots.
The base set ships with two complete sets of rods (0-9), a storage base, a wood cover, and printed instructions with worked examples. Optional square root or cube root bone add-ons at checkout.
