What is Shut the Box?

A handcrafted wooden dice game originating in 14th-century England. Roll the dice, shut the matching numbers on the board, lowest score wins.

Each player rolls two dice and shuts numbered tiles (1-9) that sum to the dice roll. Continue until you cannot make a valid move. Lowest remaining sum at the end of the turn is your score for the round. Lowest cumulative score after agreed-upon rounds wins.

What size is the 9x9 Large?

The Large version uses a 9-tile row (numbers 1 through 9). Standard tournament size.

What colors are available?

Three at checkout: green top, blue top, or red top.
