Description
The 3 Wheel Combo is a wooden combination puzzle box that hides a gift card, folded cash, a check, or a small keepsake behind a three-wheel lock. It is a Creative Crafthouse original design. Three wheels are set into the lid, and all three have to line up in the right positions at the same time before the lid will pivot open.
The combination is set and included with the box, so the gift always opens for the person you give it to. Anyone who does not know it has a real little puzzle on their hands, usually five to ten minutes of turning and testing. It turns handing over a card or some cash into a moment they work for, instead of an envelope.
- Dimensions: 5 x 2.67 x 2.8 inches outside. The inside cavity is 4.6 x 1.9 x 1.6 inches, sized for a standard gift card, folded bills, a folded check, or a small keepsake.
- Material: raintree, a warm-toned wood. No batteries, no electronics.
- Difficulty: an approachable solve with the included combination, a fun challenge without it. A good pick when you want the recipient to enjoy opening it.
- Personalization: laser-engraved name, date, monogram, or short message on the lid, up to 45 characters, for $4. Company logos and custom artwork available for corporate gifts.
- Reusable. The box outlasts the gift inside, and many people keep it on a shelf or desk as a small hidden-compartment box.
- Also used in DIY and professional escape rooms as a combination-lock reveal.
