Bur significantly, you can use multiplication on this #1-12 version! For example, if you roll and 4 and a 5, you can call it either 4 + 5 = 9 (addition) or 4 x 5 = 20 (multiplication).

Its best to multiply if you want to do well in the game as you get bigger numbers and can flip more tiles.

Now the child must find numbers to add or multiply to 20 if they chose multiplication. More of a challenge....
