Shut the Box 1-48 is an educational Montessori STEM game of math and chance suitable for up to 12 players.
Built from high-quality hardwood with wood-burned numbers, it offers lasting durability. This 1-48 edition is a flexible game box that also supports four different Shut the Box variations. Game instructions are included.
Shut the Box 1-48 can be used to play 4 versions of Shut the Box:
- Pre-K to grade 2 (ages 4+): Numbers 1-9 using just addition
- Grades 3 to 5 (ages 9+): Numbers 1-12 using addition and multiplication
- Grades 4 to 7 (ages 10+): Numbers 1-24 using addition & multiplication with simple complex equations
- Grades 5 to 10 (ages 11+): Numbers 1-48 using all 4 math operations with complex equations
