Can you open this box? This cylindrical puzzle box contains 7 rings each with the 26 letters of the alphabet. If you can arrange the 7 rings in the correct position to spell the "keyword", then the inner cylindrical assemble will be able to be removed and opened. However, if just one of the dials is in the wrong position, it will remain locked. There are over 8 billion possible permutations of the dials.
The internals of the box deviate from a standard cryptex design where the slots are all in a row. We have varied the slot locations around the internal perimeter to make it nearly impossible to solve by "feel".
The box measures 7" x 5.5" x 5.25" and weighs roughly 2.8 lbs fully assembled. The internal space available to insert items, money, notes, etc.. is 5" x 2.25" x 1.25"
Designed and handmade by our master craftsman Robert Justiana, the Cascade Cryptex Puzzle box is built with premium materials designed to last. The laser engraved coverings on both ends are made from Maple wood sourced from Colorado with the inner sections being made from a sturdy floorboard for lasting durability.
Note: The box comes with a standard keyword. However, we are able to customize the secret word to be a 7-letter word or letter combination of your choice for an added fee of $20. Once the keyword is set it cannot be changed.
