Description
This beautiful small box is handcrafted from from old growth teak that has been salvaged from branches or roots of trees felled perhaps decades ago. Teak such is this is nearly indestructable. The grains are dense and the natural oil finish of the teak makes for a wonderful feel. It is illegal to farm these old growth trees in Thailand where these originate, so the craftsmen who make these search forests for old cuttings to find material to work with. In some cases the wood is salvaged from old houses and boats. The supply of these is obviously limited.
The surface is lightly polished . Available in 2 sizes.
This box measures 8"L X 6"W X 3"H on the exterior. The interior measures 6 1/4"L X 4 1/4"W X 2"H.
It displays very nicely and will keep it's contents secure. This is a very rugged box and would make an excellent addition for escape rooms.
