The 2-person strategy game of GO originated in China before the 4th century BC, and by the 7th century AD was popular in Japan, Korea and much of east asia. It became known in the west in the 19th century. We hope you will enjoy this quality all-wood set. Even the playing pcs are hand turned hardwood and come packed in their own internal box with cover.
The entire board will fold and enclose the playing pcs box. Has brass hinges and string /post clasp for closing securely.
