Kumiki Puzzles all look like some real object; ie, an animal or vehicle or tool or building etc... They always have a trick to disassembly as well as the challenge to assemble.
This class of puzzles originated from Japan. The great Japanese puzzle designer, Tsunetaro Yamanaka (1874-1954), was the first craftsman to develop the wood interlocking puzzles known as kumiki, introducing them in the late 1800's.
We have a number of Kumiki puzzles including: Airplane, Elephant, Dog, Gun, Boat (2 sizes) and Pig.
